Headed back to work tomorrow, I am glad I am going part time for 2 weeks (my 12th week of leave) because I am only halfway ready. I feel so blessed to have been able to take 12 weeks off. I know a lot of moms don't get to do that. I am so grateful for the time with Isaiah. It's been so fun to watch him learn and grow. It has helped to know that most moms feel how I do about going back to work. I am heartbroken. I have gotten a lot of words of encouragement from people and it has really helped. See why it's so hard to leave him? Look at his chubbs :)

Lots of fun with my boys this weekend. Friday night we attended a KU Football Alumni dinner at the FB Complex. It was fun being a wife instead of an employee. Saw a lot of great people and it was fun catching up.

On Saturday we had a full day for a 2.5 month old well a near 30 year old as well. Our sweet friend Jaris had his 1st birthday party (decorated so cute) and I needed to run to the Spring Game for work for a bit.

I had every intention on watching the Spring Game, but we didn't make it that far. Once I pulled up to the stadium there were cars everywhere. Every surrounding lot had "Lot Full" signs. Things were so easy before I had Zaya. I would have parked two miles away and not even have thought twice about it. Carrying a 14 pound baby, a diaper bag and walking two miles is a whole different story. I finally found a spot near Chi Omega. I put Zaya in the stroller and started walking near the stadium. After about a half mile I realized that strollers are not allowed in so I turned around to get the Baby Bjorn.
By the time we got down there Isaiah filled his diaper and wasn't digging the Baby Bjorn. One of my main goals was to get a picture with Zaya and Baby jay. FAIL! We didn't see the birds. We stayed an hour and had to call it a day. I then walked uphill with about 20 extra pounds (well 35 if you count the weight I need to lose). I was exhausted and so was Isaiah. We headed home so he could nap and so I could clean. During his nap I just so happen to look at the monitor and watch him almost roll over. I had to go in a snap a picture. This nap started out on his back. :)
