Today we are 27 weeks...(almost 7 months) It's so hard to believe in 3 short months Isaiah will be here. Also hard to believe next week I'll enter the 3rd trimester. This pregnancy is going by WAY too fast. I've had fun today decorating the house for Christmas (yes before Thanksgiving) 1 month just isn't long enough for holiday cheer. I also have gotten all my Christmas present shopping done. For those that know me probably are not surprised. The truth is I had to get it done today. It's my last free weekend until the second week of January which is just nuts. On top of that I have a baby on the way...I need to prep. I got to eat breakfast this morning with Vaunda and Caitlin two friends from work. We went to The Mirth (a yummy local downtown eatery here in Lawrence) I was full until about 2pm. :) LOVE me some breakfast food. So great to have some time to catch up with friends.
Soon I will post pics of more holiday decorating and the nursery reveal :) For now, here are some pictures from my day.

| 27 weeks today! |
A baby at 27 weeks: (According to Babycenter.com) : This week, he weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. He's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and perhaps even sucking his fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if he were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother him, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.
Also nice to get to run errands with BOTH dogs today. Ahli is slowly but surely getting better from her surgery. The above photo is what happens when you say "Do you want to go" at our house. They both go and sit by the door leading into the garage. :)

Tonight JT and I are going on a date to the movies. Love how I am excited to go on a date after 6 years together. I am truly lucky and count my blessing daily. We're going to see the new movie J. Edgar with Leonardo Dicapro. You can watch the trailer here if you haven't seen a preview.
