Blessed Boy!

Yesterday, Jan. 7th, My best friend since middle school, Andrea, her mom and Kim threw a baby shower for me. I wanted to do it at my house hoping to make it convenient for everyone. I had so much fun seeing my family. I wish I got to see everyone more. For food..my cravings were served.

I am 8.5 months (34 weeks now) I can't explain how happy I am that Isaiah has stayed put so he can get stronger. Now I ok to deliver at Lawrence Memorial. If I would have gone into labor prior to now, I would have had to go to Overland Park Regional. I am starting to swell. All of the sudden I feel HUGE. Oh well I am happy and my boy is growing :)

Today I learned that a dad with 4 young girls (my mom babysits the girls) got kicked out of their house. They have next to nothing. It makes me feel bad that there are so many people hurting financially and are not able to provide for their families. I am definitely humbled by God's grace and all the love we've been shown. I worry so much about finances. Well...reality check for me today. Please pray for Juan and his daughters. For now, they are living with my mom. She has the best heart!

Fun fact...My NaNa and Papa (dad's side) had 8 kids. All of them have an RO name and have 6 letters. Robert, Ronald, Roland, Rodger (my dad) and Roycee are the boys. Roleta, Rogena, Roveta, and Rondah are the girls. They all also have 3 letter middle names. Ray, Gay etc... I don't know all of them.
