Christmas Eve

So fun to get to read "The Night Before Christmas" to Isaiah on Christmas Eve. I am excited for him to understand the real meaning of Christmas, but I will NOT wish away any time.

We had the best past 5 days...5 separate Christmas celebrations and lots of driving. This mom is TIRED! Just tucked in a sweet tired little, almost 11 month, boy. He was an angel. We have really enjoyed spending so much time with him these past few days. Thursday will be hard going back to work. I am taking tomorrow off to "rest" (go get some deals on discounted Christmas stuff)

Zaya's First Christmas

We are so blessed with our giving family. Zaya got lots of outfits (he's already mostly in 18 month clothes), toys, books, blocks etc...He is already practicing walking and as of the 23rd he has been "real" crawling. The best thing in the world is listening to your husband and son play "catch." Video below :) 

Gift from papa and nana Kim to help him learn to walk 

JT finished my Christmas gift AND he went even further to redo our tile at the front entry so that it would match the fireplace. I LOVE IT! So impressed with his work.

A favorite verse...Isaiah 9:6. Hopefully you are taking time to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season.  

"For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
