ThOrNtOn ThOuGhTs: What a year!

Happy New Year everyone! Guess who went to bed at 11:30pm and only drank half a beer...this girl! lol

2012 was more than good to the Thornton family. We truly couldn't be happier with all the blessings God has given us. Our best one...Isaiah. He is growing so fast. I can't wait to watch him grow and learn new things this coming year. I have to stop and give a shot out to my partner in crime who is the best dad and husband. Isaiah has the best teacher in his dad. Love you JT!

It's that time of year when everyone makes their resolutions. I challenge you to not only make a resolution, but also make an impact in this sad lost world we live in. We can add security guards to schools and change gun laws, but we can't stop the devil in his brainwashing "sick" people unless we spread the love of Jesus. Let's all be the good we want to see in the world. I love that saying. I want to paint this for my house.

We drove to visit the Lesny's in Manhattan yesterday for New Years Eve. Corey was there too! It was so nice catching up with friends and watching our kids play together.

I almost cancelled the plans due to the weather. Lawrence was due to get 4.5 and Manhattan 5.5 inches of snow. Um no thank you. I didn't want to be on the road with Isaiah when conditions were bad. Well they were not that bad when JT got off at 4 and we headed out. About 46 miles from Manhattan it was getting bad. I was a hot mess. Literally was so scared and nervous I could have thrown up. Poor JT has to put up with my neuroticness. Isaiah was asleep for most of the way. He did wake up crying when we hit Manhattan. smart boy. lol
